Our Company

Burgess Printing & Packaging history can be traced back to Austria in 1868, when its founders, the Ulrich family, engraved seals for the Royal Family and the Government. By the early 1900s the company had progressed into printing and die-cutting labels.

In the mid-1950s Walter Ulrich migrated to Australia and set up Ulrich Labels. Carrying on the family tradition of innovation, quality and service, he quickly built a strong client list.

In 1972 the business was sold to the Burgess Family and became part of the Burgess Group. That historic commitment to innovation, quality and service is what drives the company today.
